CMF college of Physiotherapy is affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik therefore the institute follows all rules and regulations as per the directions of the university.
The institute has total 241 working days in an academic year.
The total duration of college is 7 & 1/2 hours and timings are 9 a.m. - 4.30 p.m. including 30 minutes lunch time from 1.30p.m. - 2 p.m.
There are two academic terms in a year. The 1st term starts from 1st July and ends on 31st January, while the second term is from 1st February to 31st May of each year.
Students have to abide by the timings of the institute.
75% attendance in theory and 80% attendance in practicals is compulsory as per the norms prescribed by Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik.
All the public holidays approved by the State Government and Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik are applicable to us.
Students have to follow decent dress code in the college as well as all clinical postings where they are posted.
Apron is compulsory for all clinical assignments as well as for any class / presentations held in clinical facility where patients are present.
During college hours students are not allowed to venture out of campus.
In case of emergency or some non avoidable circumstances, the students can leave on informing the class coordinator teachers and administrative staff.
It is compulsory to wear college ID cards in college premises as well as clinical postings.
Two internal examinations are held as per the norms of the university and it is mandatory for the students to appear for the same as well as pass with 50% marks to become eligible to appear for university examination.
The internal examinations are tentatively held before end of the term i.e. in the month of December/January and April/May every year.
Any student who is absent for the internal examination due to health issues is allowed to appear for the exam at later dates on producing medical certificate signed by the Physician. Other than the reason stated exam will not be repeated for any other reason.
Clinical posting attendance is mandatory for all Undergraduate and Post graduate students.
Other than the prescribed vacation periods and public holidays students are not allowed to take leave for any other reason. Medical leave is sanctioned only on producing valid and genuine medical certificate.
Students need to follow discipline during conduction of classes as well as during their clinical postings.
